SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintains, monitors, troubleshoots organization’s computer infrastructure
  • Responsible for hardware and software procurement, installation and support
  • Maintains security systems (malware updates, OS patches, firewalls, etc.)
  • Manages backup and restoration of all data
  • Maintains accurate inventory of physical hardware and network diagrams of servers and hardware
  • Creates, deletes and changes user profiles
  • Maintains and monitors physical and virtual server capacity and utilization
  • Tests and updates disaster recovery plan as needed
  • Ensures all work related tasks are accounted for utilizing Helpdesk ticketing system

  • Java, DHCP, DNS, File Transfer, VOIP

Required Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant IT infrastructure support experience
  • Strong customer service skills, and ability to work well with all levels of management
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Capable of lifting equipment up to 50 pounds

Classification:  Full-time, Exempt

Travel:  5%
